Twin Peaks box set headed to Blu-ray with new Fire Walk With Me footage

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Those of you who are looking to head back to “Twin Peaks” and learn just a bit more about Laura Palmer should be prepared to get happy. An epic box set is headed to Blu-ray this July called “Twin Peaks – The Entire Mystery”. The set will also include David Lynch’s prequel film, FIRE WALK WITH ME, which will reportedly include nearly 90 minutes of never-before-seen deleted and alternate scenes.

Here is Lynch’s brief statement on the matter:

During the last days in the life of Laura Palmer many things happened, which have never been seen before… They’re here now alongside the new transfer of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Twin Peaks, the television series.”

Below you’ll find a teaser trailer for the newly restored footage, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. As can be counted upon, it’s thoroughly bizarre, but catnip for fans of Lynch’s loony brand of storytelling.

The box set releases July 29th.
