In the new Euphoria Season 3 trailer, Zendaya’s Rue is being interrogated in Mexico after working with drug dealers and swallowing balloons filled with an unknown and illicit substance. Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie and Jacob Elordi’s Nate get married, and Cassie partners with Maddy (Alexa Demie) to set the cam girl world on fire.

Other returning cast members include Hunter Schafer, the late Eric Dane, Maude Apatow, Martha Kelly, Chloe Cherry, Colman Domingo, and Dominic Fike. Sweeney on the vibes of Season 3
Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the series, has previously teased that the new season is unhinged, saying, “I have such a spot in my heart for Cassie, and I hold her really close and dear,” she said. “She is crazy. She makes so many mistakes. She’s flawed on so many levels, but she does it all from a place of love. It could be a sad version of love, as well. It’s so much fun to play a character that is as crazy as she is. Sam [Levinson] is such a brilliant filmmaker to work with, because I’ll read something, then I’ll call him, and I’m like, ‘Let’s go crazier.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m all in.’ And this season is unhinged.”
I’ve never seen a frame of Euphoria before today’s trailer, though I must admit, it looks wild. Clearly, my assumptions about the show are all wrong, and it’s worth checking out. The cast this season is amazing, and I’d love to see how they all play off one another. I’ve got some catching up to do.
