Since their creation by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird in 1984, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have taken on numerous incarnations, starting with comic books then to film, TV, animation, and stage shows, flooding the world with the visage of Heroes in a Half Shell and making them a staple of pop culture. For more than 30 years, the turtles have inspired and entertained in their various forms, including action figures, videogames, and more. What started as a parody of Marvel Comics of the '80's has become a massive franchise of mutated ninja warriors that continues to thrive from generation to generation. We pay tribute to Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello, and the rest of the gang in this exclusive video that tracks their earliest beginnings to their most current iteration.

Take a trip down Half-Shell nostalgia lane!:
