Extended clips and featurette from G.I. Joe: Retaliation have lots of ninja action…and panties?

The four-minute long ninja fight sequence  from G.I. JOE: RETALITAION that was previewed before HANSEL AND GRETEL is now online, showcasing a brawl between fan favorites Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Jinx, as well as a bunch of high-flying red ninjas.  We’ve seen bits and pieces of this sequence thus far and it’s still just a piece of the whole as presented here, but it should give you a good sense for the overall flow of the film.  It looks pretty finished to me, complete with Henry Jackman’s score playing underneath, so I’d say this about as good a gauge for the film’s quality as any.

Additionally, there’s a second clip with Dwayne Johnson‘s Roadblock and Channing Tatum‘s Duke having a short dialogue sequence involving the precision of target shooting, babysitting, panties, and karaoke machines.  Yep, all in a day’s work.  It’s obvious that director John Chu gave these guys some freedom to ad lib on set, which looks to have had mixed results.  However, it does have more personality than the first film.

Enjoy:

Here’s the synopsis:

Framed for crimes against the country, the G.I. Joe team is terminated by the President’s order, and the surviving team members face off against Zartan, his accomplices, and the world leaders he has under his influence.

G.I. JOE: RETALIATION gets its panties in a bunch on March 28, 2013.
