Alright people, your going to need to brace
yourselves for this one. Rue Morgue has announced their line-up for the 4th
annual
FESTIVAL OF FEAR and it seems that the rumors are true. Horror master
and legend DARIO ARGENTO will be making a rare guest appearance! How
f**king cool is that?
Word has it that generally Argento doesn’t do
these convention things often, which is why this one seems like such a big deal.
The festival is running in Toronto at the end of August (24th to the 26th to be
exact) and is shaping up to be a real doozy.
Joining Argento, will be the master of the undead
himself, George Romero. (For me, meeting Romero is as big of a deal as it was
for fellow AITH writer Eric Walkuski to get a backrub from Prince.) I mean two
of the biggest names in horror under one roof; and in Toronto none the less?
Somebody should pinch me because I must be dreaming!
These festivals are always a good time, and with
other stars like Malcolm McDowell, Michael Biehn, and Sean Astin present
everyone’s sure to have a blast. So if your going to be in that little corner of
Southwestern Ontario known as Toronto at the end of August, think about dropping
in to say hi to two of the biggest names in horror history.
