Face Off – Boba Fett vs The Mandalorian

When the original Star Wars trilogy hit theaters, Boba Fett would end up being the most mysterious and cool character out of all the movies. Who was he and where did he come from? Sadly, we saw him perish in Return Of The Jedi… or at least so we thought. The most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy would make a glorious comeback in season 2 of The Mandalorian and was the star of his own series, The Book Of Boba Fett, both on Disney+.

At a time when the Star Wars franchise seemed to be floundering, another hero wearing Mandalorian armor emerged from out of the desert to save the day. Not only did fans love the new show The Mandalorian when it debuted in 2019, but felt it corrected a lot of mistakes with the franchise. Another cool and mysterious bounty hunter who didn’t have much of a backstory left fans on the edge of their seats. But creator Jon Favreau had one more trick up his sleeve that made the fandom EXPLODE — a Baby Yoda named Grogu for the Mandalorian to look after and accompany him on his journey.

Fans couldn’t get enough of this cute odd couple, and as their story unfolded in the first season, we would see just how much of a badass Mando really is. While we’ve witnessed these characters team up on both of their series, who would come out on top if they squared off against each other? Which masked bounty hunter would walk away as the victor, and which one would be left as Bantha Poodoo? Only one way to find out… FACE OFF!

This episode of Face Off is written by Bryan Wolford, narrated by Shawn Knippelberg, and edited by Stephen White. Don’t let us have the final word! Tell us in the comments which Star Wars badass is your favorite — Boba Fett or the Mandalorian?
