It’s interesting to see where director Doug Liman has gone
since he blew on to the scene with SWINGERS in 1996 and the very
entertaining GO in 1999. After those two indie projects, he went on to
helm the first of the BOURNE movies in 2002, followed by the box-office
smash MR. AND MRS. SMITH in 2005 and the disappointing JUMPER in 2008. A
few days ago, the trailer to his latest film entitled FAIR
GAME starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn hit the interwebs (and for
those wondering, unfortunately it’s not a remake of the Billy
Baldwin/Cindy Crawford flick from 1995 of the same name), in which
Watts plays real-life undercover CIA operative Valerie Plame, whose career
was destroyed when her covert identity was exposed by a politically
motivated press leak. Looks ‘ayight’ to me…what do you think? Check out
