It hasn’t even been a couple days since we gave you a look at the awesome new poster for David R. Ellis’ THE FINAL DESTINATION and we’ve already got another update for you all!
Before I get into that though let me say that wasn’t sarcasm when I said the poster was awesome. That one-sheet to the right has shot right up my fave one-sheets of 2009! It’s pretty much perfect and it didn’t need a single actor to get there! We’ve got a simple yet effective tagline and some nice shattered glass effects with a nasty looking skull thrown in! What more can you ask for? Well maybe a smoking hottie but this is the next best thing!
The brand new official website is just the opposite of awesome though. The site went live today and has all of three things going for it. We’ve got the logo, check. A confirmed release date of August 28th, check. And the confirmation that the film will be in 3-D, check. That’s it. No lie folks, this is all we’ve got coming from THE FINAL DESTINATION’s official website. I’m sure that’ll change as the Summer progresses though so keep an eye on it.
So this bad boy is looking to hit theaters August 28th as previously announced. Interesting considering another of the most anticipated genre flicks of the year is looking to bow on that day in the form of HALLOWEEN 2. Let’s get ready to rumble folks!
