I know what you’re asking yourself, ‘What’s the latest with CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2 yo?!’ Well it was a couple months back that I told you all CHROMESKULL had scored distribution from Image Entertainment and now here I am to tell you all when that’s going to happen!
So it seems CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2 is getting ready to tear our faces off September 20, 2011 though it’s unknown if this’ll be a direct-to-DVD release or if it’ll get some sort of theatrical run. Either way we’re getting this shite right in time for Halloween so it couldn’t be more perfect!
ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 picks up three months after the end of the first film. Tommy, who’s struggling with vivid memories of his first encounter with the masked killer, has been abducted by Preston, who harbors a mysterious connection to ChromeSkull. Meanwhile, the technologically saavy slasher — he videotapes his victims as he’s killing them — has set his sights on Jess, and after the young girl disappears, Detective King races against time to find her and Tommy before it’s too late and try to put an end to ChromeSkull’s blood-soaked legacy.
Sporting a cast that includes Brian Austin Green, Owain Yeoman, Thomas Dekker, Mimi Michaels, Nick Principe, Danielle Harris (below), Gail O’Grady, Chris Nelson, Brett Wagner, Aimee Lynn Chadwick and Angelina Armani, CHROMESKULL: LAID TO REST 2 is Rob Hall’s follow-up to his original slasher LAID TO REST. Get ready because this shite comes at us on September 20th!
