There’s some pretty interesting news coming in from Variety today. Paramount Pictures have just picked up the rights to graphic novel THE KILLER. These graphic novels are some hot property right now, huh?
According to Amazon, the synopsis is the following: A French hit man has long been at the top of his game, but the psychic weight of his crimes is slowly catching up with him, and, after he botches one job and attracts a policeman determined to bring him down, he may be breaking down just when he needs his skills the most.
Sounds familiar, sort of like THE MATADOR, except much different, if that makes any sense. THE KILLER was written by Matz and illustrated by Luc Jacamon. Some great news is that David Fincher will be directing the film. Fincher’s brilliant behind that camera and I can really only see good coming from this. Allesandro Camon is going to work on the script. The film is being producded by Alexandra Milchan and Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.
