Here’s a good look at Crackle’s upcoming zombie bash DEAD RISING: WATCHTOWER, their film adaptation of the popular Capcom video game franchise. This clip shows us the beginnings of the undead epidemic and features plenty of blood and goo, so put a bib on and dig in!
The story follows Chase Carter (Jesse Metcalfe), an online reporter trying to make it big – but the pursuit of his career-defining story leads him into the heart of a zombie-infested warzone. The quarantined city quickly erupts into carnage and anarchy, becoming a deathtrap he’ll be lucky to escape.
Chase joins forces with a desperate band of survivors. Crystal (Meghan Ory) is tough and independent, and may be the key to exposing the conspiracy behind the mysterious outbreak. But when she is bitten, their greatest asset may become their biggest threat.
