Back in February we shared the news that director Tommy Wirkola, fresh off the success of his English-language debut HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS, had confirmed that the sequel to his 2009 international hit DEAD SNOW would be heading before the cameras this year. We now know that production on DEAD SNOW 2: WAR OF THE DEAD is underway and today we have a handful of behind the scenes shots that offer severed limbs, entrails and buckets of blood, making it perfectly clear that Wirkola will not be holding back on the red stuff on this anticipated sequel.

DEAD SNOW 2: WAR OF THE DEAD follows the sole survivor of a Nazi zombie attack who battles an even larger army of Zombies with the help of the Zombie Squad, a professional gang of zombie killers from the US.
