Fractured Visions hosts watch party for Critters 2 with director Mick Garris

The cult horror film festival Fractured Visions announced on Twitter that they are going to be hosting a watch party for the sci-fi horror/comedy CRITTERS 2, starring Scott Grimes and Terrance Mann, which is about

A batch of unhatched critter eggs are mistaken for Easter eggs by the country-folk inhabitants of Grover's Bend and, before long, the ferocious furballs are on the rampage again.

The watch party is even going to be joined by the director of the film himself, Mick Garris, who also directed PSYCHO IV and THE STAND miniseries! So if you had any burning questions, like "why?", now is your chance!

Now, I don't have any real personal connection or fondness for the CRITTERS franchise, as my biggest exposure to them was when Raphael makes fun of the poster for the first movie in the 1990 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES film. But I think it's cool that the director himself will be there to give some insight on the production, so if you were curious and wanted to join in on the fun, the watch along is going to be happening Sunday, April 19th @ 8pm GMT/12pm PST

Any fans of the CRITTERS series out there? If so, what's your favorite one? Either way, sound off below!
