Boggy Creek: The Series Henrique Couto Fred Olen Ray

The legendary Fred Olen Ray has teamed up with prolific indie filmmaker Henrique Couto for a Bigfoot-inspired television series, and the entire first season of the show has just been released through Amazon Prime.

Sharing its title with the most popular Bigfoot movie ever made, or at least the most popular one that isn't HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS, the show is called Boggy Creek: The Series. The show follows

the exploits of Roger and Sarah, two field members of "The American Yeti Project", as they hunt for the elusive Bigfoot, the beast of Boggy Creek.

Starring Joni Durian, Mike Hilinski, Joe Kidd, and Geoff Burkman, with a special guest appearance from scream queen Brinke Stevens and narration by Eric Roberts, the first season of Boggy Creek consists of six episodes. The titles of those episodes:

– The Witch of Boggy Creek

– Trapped

– Beauty and the Bigfoot

– The Battle of Boggy Creek

– Boggy Creek Bandits

– The Scarecrow of Boggy Creek

Ray serves as executive producer on the series and wrote the first two episodes. Dan Wilder wrote the other four episodes. All six of them were produced and directed by Couto.

Ray, Couto, Bigfoot. That sounds like a dream team to me. I can't wait to check this show out. If you'd like to watch Boggy Creek: The Series, all six episodes are available to stream right now at THIS LINK.
