It's been two years since we heard that Ohio-based filmmaker Henrique Couto was gearing up to make a supernatural horror film called HAUNTING INSIDE, about a lonely agoraphobic woman who makes the mistake of summoning spirits to keep her company. Now not only has a trailer been released online, but Couto also has a limited edition Blu-ray/DVD combo pack release of the film available for pre-order on his site Henflix.com.

Directed by Couto from a screenplay by Dan Wilder and produced by Keenan Patrick Pryor, HAUNTING INSIDE has the following synopsis:

After their parents demise, two siblings, Sammy and Sylvia, try to maintain their tenuous relationship as Sylvia falls deeper into her own delusions. Things change when mysterious figures befriend her, but their motives are not as innocent as they appear. Will Sammy lose his sister to the forces that now haunt their lives?

Joni Durian, John Hambrick, Erin R. Ryan, Rachael Redolfi, Joe Kidd, Alia Eckhardt, and Iabou Windimere star.

There are only 150 copies of the limited edition, so if you want to grab one you'll have to do so quickly. Anyone who orders a copy during the pre-order period (from now through May) will be receiving a "Special Thanks" in the credits. There are also eight Associate Producer credits available for purchase during the pre-order period. Copies will be shipping out in June.

I watch every movie Couto makes and the cast of this one includes some of my favorite actors from the Ohio indie scene, so I'm all in for checking out HAUNTING INSIDE.
