This isn’t exactly horror news per
se, but its news about a sweet ass looking film, which is good enough for me!

Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300,
about the Greco-Sparta war will be hitting theatres March 9th and the full
trailer can now be seen over
here
at Yahoo, and I must say it looks awesome!

The film which is being helmed by
Zack Snyder is about
 the ancient
Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans
fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing
insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite
against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy.

Now when writing the graphic novel Miller did take some creative licensing, but
for the most part the legend is pretty accurate. So go check out the trailer
while I go throw a spear through my Persian neighbors window. (That’ll teach him
for stealing my newspaper!)
