Full trailer for Disney’s Frozen with Kristen Bell makes for an upbeat, snowy romp

We’ve already seen some footage from Disney’s FROZEN, but today we have the full trailer, which paints a better portrait of what the movie is about. It’s a fairly standard model for the Disney animated crowd and feels very much like a film that lives and breathes in the same world that was created with 2010’s TANGLED. Starring Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Alan Tudyk, and Idina Menzel, the icy family adventure looks serviceable enough with some quirky fun characters and a fitting “cold” theme for it’s holiday release date.

Take a look:

Here’s the synopsis:

Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

I was pleasantly surprised by TANGLED when I saw it and would even venture to say that it was a good flick. Fun characters, solid animation, and a good song line-up made for a surprisingly enjoyable CGI animated flick. While some Disney aficionado’s prefer the traditional animation, I’m game for the digital stuff if it works as well as this.

FROZEN hits theaters on November 27, 2013.
