Zoey Deutch sets her sights on Jon Hamm in the cheeky teaser trailer for Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass

When people aren’t passing the time while playing Marry, F**k, Kill, they’re often discussing their celebrity crushes, and more specifically, who they’d choose as their partner for a round of bedroom gymnastics. After all, it’s not uncommon to lust after celebrities. Hollywood spends enough time making them look larger than life, so it’s only natural to fantasize about securing two tickets to the Bone Zone with someone who’s as unattainable as they come. In the new teaser trailer for Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, Zoey Deutch must punch her celebrity sex card to even the score with her fiancé after he managed to pull off the near-impossible.

In David Wain’s Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, we follow Gail (Deutch), a small-town hairdresser who learns her fiancé has slept with someone on his sex pass, and to repair their impending nuptials, she sets out to cross a name off her own list: Jon Hamm. I mean, who could blame her?

The first teaser trailer for Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass finds Deutch’s Gail meeting with a fortune teller whose knowledge of Gail’s situation is scarily accurate. The fortune teller suggests that, to even the score, Gail must sleep with her celebrity crush, Jon Hamm, before she can go through with the impending wedding.

Written by David Wain (One Hot American Summer) and Ken Moreno (The State, Party Down), Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass stars Zoey Deutch, Thomas Lennon, Ben Wang, Kerri Kenney, Ken Moreno, Joe Lo Truglio, Michael Ian Black, Richard Kind, Fred Melamed, Miles Guiterrez-Riley, Richard Ellis, Jon Hamm, and John Slattery as a fictionalized version of himself looking to reconnect with his Mad Men co-star.

Looking at the cast, Gail Daughtry is essentially a Wet Hot American Summer and The State reunion film! I had no idea, and now I’m totally into catching this when it arrives in theaters on July 10, 2026.

Our Editor-in-Chief, Chris Bumbray, saw Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, and thought it was hilarious. Check out the blurb from Chris’s review for some of his thoughts:

“While Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass isn’t able to keep its momentum going throughout the entire film, more often than not it’s hilarious, and even at the notoriously fickle Sundance press screenings, the journalists I saw this with all laughed consistently. In an era where we lack comedies, the fact that this movie actually makes you chuckle is enough to merit an enthusiastic recommendation from me—and Deutch is a delight.”
