Costas Mandylor just can’t escape the traps. After playing a villainous role in multiple SAW sequels, the actor now has a lead role in writer/director Alberto Sciamma’s BLOOD TRAP, a film that finds Mandylor caught in a trap with a twist that sets it apart from the SAW franchise. The characters aren’t dealing with some Jigsaw-esque serial killer. This trap was set by a vampire.

When a group of criminals attempts to kidnap a gangster’s beautiful daughter for ransom, they find themselves locked in her compound until nightfall. Now the predators become the prey as the would-be kidnappers are systematically hunted by a vicious bloodsucking vampire who feeds and breeds!

Cleopatra Films will be releasing BLOOD TRAP on VOD on September 20rd, and to help lure you in they have released a trailer that can be seen below. It works for me, I think BLOOD TRAP looks like a crazy, low budget good time.
