Ghost Rider rides in again for Agents of SHIELD season finale

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

As a kid, Ghost Rider was one of my favorite heroes – alongside Batman, Spawn, and The Punisher. Yes, I grew up in the '90s, why do you ask? Anyway, it was really disappointing to find Ghost Rider not only starring in one, but two terrible movie adaptations (with his second one SPIRIT OF VENGENCE – alongside PUNISHER: WAR ZONE – pretty much killing off the more mature-oriented Marvel Knights brand).

So, while as a fan of the character it sucks to see him relegated to the AGENTS OF SHIELDS ghetto (he couldn't even show up on Netflix?), I guess it's understandable. Hell, I don't even mind his revamped origin, and the effects are surprisingly decent for a TV budget. However, it'd be a lot cooler if he at least still had a goddamn motorcycle! I'm aware there's a version with a car, but it's still stupid.

Anywho, this is all to say that it appears Ghost Rider will appear once again AoS for the season 4 finale "World's End". Here's the synopsis, according to TV Line:

Coulson and the team — amid the surprising emergence of Ghost Rider — attempt to stop Aida from, you know, ending the world.

I have no idea what any of that means, or how Ghost Rider even fits into any of it. But I've heard the show has fans, and that it has even improved quite a bit to be pretty watchable. Which, if so, are there any fans out there? And if so, you glad to see more Ghost Rider? Either way, sound off below!

Meanwhile, the season finale "World's End" will air on ABC May 16th.
