Hot on the heels of yesterday’s “American Horror Story: Asylum” first episode synopsis news comes this fresh featurette that brings us behind the scenes of the FX show’s second season. You’ll hear from James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Lily Rabe and a handful of others as the cast and crew attempt to freak you out with their harrowing descriptions of the “Asylum’s” horrors. Nothing like a creepy hospital to get the old goosebumps standin’, even old Cromwell agrees!

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Francis Conroy, Lily Rabe, Adam Levine, Joseph Fiennes, Jenna Dewan, Chloe Sevigny, Mark Consuelos, Clea Duvall and James Cromwell all star in “American Horror Story: Asylum,” which premieres on October 17th.

Here is the synopsis for the first episode, “Welcome to Briarcliff”: Welcome to Briarcliff Manor a notorious insane asylum home to the deranged serial killer, Bloody Face. Lurking in the shadows of this “sanctuary of healing” are terrifying evils that blur the boundaries between reality and insanity.
