So how’d you all like your trip to DISTURBIA this past summer? Spooked? Scared out of your mind? Just entertained? Well regardless, a sequel is in the works.

That’s right, one of the sleeper hits of the summer is due for a sequel. DISTURBIA centered around a teenage boy under house arrest who spies on his neighbor, suspecting his neighbor of being a murderer. It was directed by D.J. Caruso and written by Christopher Landon and Carl Ellsworth. It starred current sensation Shia LaBeouf, Sarah Roemer (below), David Morse, and Aaron Yoo.

Bloody Disgusting is reporting that it was announced yesterday that a sequel is now officially in the works. No telling who’ll be returning from the crew, but you can really go anywhere with this one. I’m hoping they get the whole gang back together, I’d definately want to check that one out. But out of everyone, I hope David Morse reprises his role. Shia’s schedule is pretty jam packed anyway, but who knows. DISTURBIA is out on DVD now if you haven’t checked it out yet. We’ll keep you updated on any news on the sequel.
