We’ve been tracking the progress of the action packed Western Gunfight at Rio Bravo ever since the project was first announced (at which time it was going by the title Assault on Rio Bravo), and today we’re proud to share the EXCLUSIVE first look at the film’s final trailer! You can check it out in the embed above.

The film is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on January 13th, followed by a digital and national home release on January 17th via Shout! Factory. Copies can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK.

Directed by Joe Cornet (Prayer for the Damned) from a screenplay by Craig Hamann (Showdown in Manila), Gunfight at Rio Bravo stars and was produced by three-time Mr. Universe Alexander Nevsky (Maximum Impact). The film has the following synopsis:

When mysterious Russian gunslinger Ivan Turchin rides into a small Texas town, he runs afoul of a bloodthirsty outlaw gang known as The Hellhounds. Outmanned and outgunned, the town must put their trust in Turchin to protect them from annihilation at the hands of the bandits. The gunslinger finds allies in the form of Marshal Austin Carter and Sheriff Vernon Kelly, and together the three must make a desperate stand against impossible and violent odds.

Cornet also has an acting role in Gunfight at Rio Bravo. He and Nevsky are joined in the cast by Olivier Gruner (Nemesis), Matthias Hues (Dark Angel/I Come in Peace), Natalie Denise Sperl (Mank), Kerry Goodwin (Promise), Russian actress/supermodel Anna Oris (making her Hollywood film debut), and Arrow in the Head founder John Fallon (100 Feet), a.k.a. The Arrow!

Nevsky produced the film for Hollywood Storm, with ETA Films’ Eric Brenner and San Rafael Productions’ Joe Cornet serving as executive producers.
