Guns, Girls and Gambling assembles most random cast ever with Slater, Oldman and Cook

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve heard some WTF casts assemble in my time, but I don’t think anything recently can beat Christian Slater, Gary Oldman and Dane Cook all slapped together in one movie called GUNS, GIRLS and GAMBLING.

What the hell is it about? Well according to Heat Vision, it’s got an equally random plot synopsis.

“Elvis impersonators, Indians, modern cowboys, a 6-foot-tall blond assassin, a frat boy, a corrupt sheriff and a prostitute into a chase for a priceless American Indian artifact stolen during a poker game at an Indian casino.”

Sounds like a more comedic version of SNATCH or LOCK STOCK to me, with a far more random collection of characters. Slater will play the straight man who enters an Elvis impersonation contest. Oldman is the contest’s “mega-contender” whatever that means, and Cook is playing the sheriff. Really, not the frat boy?

The film is being directed by Michael Winnick, and will hopefully be the good kind of crazy (not the bad), when it’s eventually released.
