Guy Ritchie keeps game

JoBloJoBlo

This was probably an assumption while he was creating the book, but gangster virtuoso Guy Ritchie (SNATCH) will helm the feature adaptation of his own comic THE GAMEKEEPER.

Part of Virgin’s comic line (which includes works by other Hollywood names like John Woo, Nic Cage and Shekhar Kapur), the rural espionage story follows Brock, the enigmatic groundsman on a country estate, who must repel invading mercenaries with ties to his own dark past.

The movie (penned by the book’s co-writer Andy Diggle) will come from Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver, some time after Ritchie is finished overdirecting his current crime tale ROCKnROLLA with the omnipresent Gerard Butler.
