He Knows When You Are Sleeping short film is a horrific holiday celebration

We have shared some Christmas-themed horror short films from director Henrique Couto in the past – Christmas Presence in 2015, Stirring in 2018 – and this year he’s back with a new one called He Knows When You Are Sleeping! When you have six minutes to spare and want to add some creepiness to your holiday celebrations, you can watch the new short in the embed above. It plays out without a single line of dialogue, depending entirely on the music, sound effects, facial expressions, and body language.

With a script written by Morgan Moore, He Knows When You Are Sleeping tells the following story:

On a cozy, sleepy Christmas Eve a woman realizes she may not be alone…

The short stars Iabou Windimere, Joe Kidd, and David Denoyer. It was produced by Rachael Redolfi. Ray Mattis provided the score.
