Hellraiser: Judgment director’s commentary released online

I'm a big fan of listening to director's commentaries; in fact there are a lot of movies I watch with the commentary on much more often than I watch them with the commentary off. It tends to be the most important special feature on any DVD or Blu-ray release for me.

When HELLRAISER: JUDGMENT, the tenth installment in the HELLRAISER franchise, was released last month, an audio commentary with writer/director Gary J. Tunnicliffe was not included on the disc – the only special features on offer were deleted and extended scenes (which are also often an interesting feature) and a gag reel.

If you were left wanting more information from Tunnicliffe about this new sequel, you'll be glad to know the man has decided to provide it. Teaming up with the YouTube channel Midnight's Edge, Tunnicliffe has released an official director's commentary track that you can listen to through YouTube and sync up with your copy of HELLRAISER: JUDGMENT.

HELLRAISER: JUDGMENT tells the following story:

Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiraling maze of horror that may not be of this world. Could the Judgment awaiting the killer’s victims also be waiting for Sean?

The film stars Damon Carney as Detective Sean Carter, Randy Wayne as Detective David Carter, Alexandra Harris as Detective Christine Egerton, Jeff Fenter as Karl Watkins, Helena Grace Donald as the ancient Jophiel, Grace Montie as socialite Crystal Lanning, John Gulager as The Assessor, Diane Goldner as The Cleaner, Andi Powers as a member of a hellish jury, Mike Jay Regan as Chatterer, and Heather Langenkamp as a foul-mouthed landlady, with Paul T. Taylor (who worked with our own JimmyO on SICK FOR TOYS) as the iconic Pinhead.
