In their effort to protect the Earth from the scum of the universe, the Men in Black organization has agents in every major city around the world. In the first three MEN IN BLACK movies, we followed U.S. agents played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, but in the new film MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL we'll be meeting agents who work out of London – and a newly released trailer gives us our first look at those agents in action.

Directed by F. Gary Gray from a screenplay by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as Agents H and M, respectively, with Liam Neeson as their boss and Emma Thompson reprising her MEN IN BLACK III role of Agent O.

The film doesn't yet have an official synopsis, but we have heard that the story deals with

M trying to prove herself by joining the London MIB and being paired with the former ace Agent H. The pair becomes involved in a murder mystery that has them traveling the globe.

Also in the cast, in unspecified roles, are Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, and twin dancers Laurent and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois.

I can't say I've ever been a fan of the MEN IN BLACK franchise. I was underwhelmed by the first movie, can barely remember watching the second movie, and still haven't gotten around to watching the third… But I do have interest in seeing MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL, because of Hemsworth and Thompson. I'll be checking it out sometime.

Produced by Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, with Steven Spielberg executive producing, MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2019.

The trailer and poster can be seen below.
