A fully-functioning VHS copy of Nicolas Cage’s Mandy on the way!

So this is cool! Looks like Broke Horror Fan is going to be releasing a fully-functioning VHS version of MANDY, and will be available via Witter Entertainment! This seems fitting for the film – which was set in the 80s and steeped in retro imagery and atmosphere – and is the perfect marriage of medium and message!

Broke Horror Fan presents Mandy on limited edition, fully functional VHS! Our latest tape goes on sale next Friday, September 4, at 12pm EST/9am PST at WitterEntertainment.com.

The 2018 horror favorite is directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow). Nicolas Cage (Color Out of Space), Andrea Riseborough (Birdman), Linus Roache (The Chronicles of Riddick), Richard Brake (3 from Hell), and Bill Duke (Predator) star.

Mandy arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case with several limited edition variants, including artwork by Vasilis Zikos, artwork by Christopher Shy, and a special edition with a red VHS tape.

For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed from RLJE Films and has been approved by producers SpectreVision.

And here's the official synopsis for the film:

In the Pacific Northwest in 1983, outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with deadly fire.

Meanwhile, Broke Horror Fan will be releasing the VHS version of MANDY – which was directed by Panos Cosmatos and starred Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache – September 4th, though if you don't want to wait for that version, you can BUY/WATCH IT HERE!
