Backtrack rewinds its release date, hitting theaters next month

Michael Petroni's BACKTRACK was originally set for release in March, but sometimes distributors have to... backtrack. Normally, when release dates are changed, movies are pushed back to everybody's chagrin. However, eager fans will be pleased to hear that BACKTRACK is getting the reverse treatment. Here's the update: The film will premiere exclusively on DirecTV on January 28, 2016 and in theaters and VOD on February 26, 2016.

BACKTRACK tells the story of:

Troubled psychotherapist Peter Bowers, who is suffering from nightmares and eerie visions. When he uncovers the horrifying secret shared by his patients, he is put on a course that takes him back to the remote hometown he fled years ago. There in False Creek he is consumed by solving a decades-old mystery that holds the key to his strange and menacing delusions.

Adrien Brody, Sam Neill, and Robin McLeavy star in this psychological thriller.

Extra Tidbit: Are you excited to hear that a film is actually being pulled forward instead of pushed back?
