Check out the new trailer for RKSS’ Summer of ’84

Quite possibly the number one movie that I'm looking forward to checking out the most is filmmaking team RKSS' (TURBO KID) nostalgia era thriller, SUMMER OF 84. The film made its World Premiere earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival and you can read our review HERE.

If you're as excited as I am about the film, then you'll be happy to hear that today we have an all-new trailer for the film, which you can check out in all of it's 80's horror-adventure style glory below.

SUMMER OF 84 is directed by the Montreal filmmaking collective RKSS which consists of François Simard and brother & sister Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell. The film fittingly takes place in the Summer of 1984: 

The perfect time to be 15 years old and carefree. But when neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong begins to suspect his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news, he and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon turns dangerous.

The cast includes Graham Verchere (ONCE UPON A TIME), Judah Lewis (THE BABYSITTER), Caleb Emery (GOOSEBUMPS), Cory Grüter-Andrew (FARGO), Tiera Skovbye (RIVERDALE), and Rich Sommer (MAD MEN). Gunpowder & Sky will be releasing the film in theaters on August 10, 2018, and on VOD and Digital HD on August 24, 2018.
