I'm all for a goofy good time at the theater and MACHETE KILLS looks like the kind of mindless fun that'll put a silly grin on my chin. We've seen some pretty insane trailers and TV spots for the Robert Rodriguez-directed sequel, as well as some groovy posters and promotional stills over the past couple of months, and this morning we have a fresh TV spot that will certainly get you stoked for the flicks October release (well, if you're into this kind of over-the-top film that is!).
Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federal agent Machete, who is recruited by the President of the United States (Charlie Sheen) for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer (Mel Gibson) who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet.
Also starring Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, Alexa Vega, Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, Michelle Rodriguez, Edward Olmos, William Sadler, Lady Gaga and Antonio Banderas, MACHETE KILLS is in theaters October 11th, 2013.
