Vega Baby Releasing has set an October 1st DVD and VOD release date for writer/director Paul J. Salamoff's sci-fi thriller ENCOUNTER, and a month out from the release we have an EXCLUSIVE look at the trailer (above) and poster (below) for the film.
Starring Luke Hemsworth of Westworld, Anna Hutchison of THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, and genre icon Tom Atkins (HALLOWEEN III, CREEPSHOW, NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, etc.), ENCOUNTER is a movie that asks the question, "If you found an alien life form, would your first instinct be to bring it home?"
When an otherworldly organism crash lands on Earth, a group of grief-stricken friends must overcome a recent tragedy and face their fear of the unknown to uncover the unimaginable secret the alien holds. But with the FBI closing in, time is running out.
Cheryl Texiera, Glenn Keogh, Vincent M. Ward, Christopher Showerman, Wendy Davis, Peter Holden, Sarah Booth, and Callie Eckley are also in the cast.
ENCOUNTER was produced by Amy Bailey, with Rob Hollocks serving as executive producer and Salamoff co-producing with Rick Kelly and Chadwick Struck.
