Film4 Frightfest line-up revealed! John Fallon’s The Shelter included!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Film4 FrightFest 2015 marks its 16th year with its largest  line-up ever. From August 27th to  August 31st, the UK’s leading event for genre fans will return to the Vue West End, Leicester Square to present seventy-six films across five screens, plus a host of special events.

There are plenty of cool films to be gawked at, but there's one addition that is understandably quite exciting for us here at Arrow in the Head: John "The Arrow" Fallon's THE SHELTER which stars Michael Paré! That's right, our fearless leader is screening his film at one of the most prestigious horror fests in the world. How f*ckin' cool is that?!

Here's what The Arrow had to say about the honor:

Small victories like this make the countless hours of work and pushing worthwhile. The London Frightfest Film Festival is a venue that I have admired from afar for a very long time. And I’m beyond elated that the first time I get to attend it, is with my directorial debut under my belt."

Beyond THE SHELTER, Frightfest is offering an amazing line-up of thrillers and chillers; some have traveled the world already, some will be making their premieres. Opening Film4 FrightFest is the European Premiere of David Keating’s CHERRY TREE, starring Anna Walton, Sam Hazeldine  and Naomi Battrick; closing the fest out will be the highly-anticipated anthology TALES OF HALLOWEEN, which features shorts from directors Neil Marshall, Darren Lynn Bousman, Axelle Carolyn, Lucky McKee and more!

Other notable titles include DEMONIC, A CHRISTMAS HORROR STORY, FRANKENSTEIN, WE ARE STILL HERE, TURBO KID, SCHERZO DIABOLICO, SOME KIND OF HATE, NIGHT FARE, RABID DOGS, STUNG and a restoration of HELLRAISER! But there are so many more!
