First promo poster for horror anthology Paris, I’ll Kill You

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

The folks over at Twitch got their hands on an early piece of artwork for the already highly-anticipated horror anthology PARIS, I’LL KILL YOU, which we only just learned about a week ago. The image of a knife brutally stabbing through a heart and a tagline that proclaims “Romance is Dead” tells you a whole lot, as well as a second tagline that boasts “10 of Horror’s Finest Directors, 10 Stories to Scare the Hell Out of You”!

As I mentioned the first time around, Joe Dante (GREMLINS), Paco Plaza ([REC]) Vincenzo Natali (SPLICE), Xavier Gens (FRONTIERES), Ryuhei Kitamura (MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN) Christopher Smith (SEVERANCE), Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (INSIDE) and German music video director Joern Heitmann will all direct short segments for the film; not much is known about them, although earlier this week we got a tiny idea of what Natali’s piece is about (it’s called “Ready to Eat” and takes place in the world of high fashion). Can’t wait to find out more… Furthermore, I just can’t wait to see the f*cking thing – feels like I’ve already been waiting an eternity.

Shooting on PARIS, I’LL KILL YOU doesn’t begin until Spring 2011, so we’ve got a while to wait yet; hopefully no one back out in the meantime – you know how fickle directors can be…
