Ghostbusters: Afterlife title confirmed – trailer coming this week!

Director Jason Reitman’s GHOSTBUSTERS 2020 has evidently been officially titled GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE and is headed our way next summer starring Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd. Filming recently wrapped on the new film and today we hear that the first trailer is coming later this week! GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE is said to focus on a family

who moves back home to a small town. While there, they begin to learn more about who they are and the secrets of the town itself.

The cast currently includes Carrie Coon as a single mother, with Finn Wolfhard as her son, Mckenna Grace as her daughter, and Paul Rudd as a teacher. GHOSTBUSTERS stars set to return include Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Raymond Stantz, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett, Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore.

After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become "ghostbusters" to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.

Directed by Jason Reitman from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Gil Kenan based on the original film which was written by Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ivan Reitman.
