Oscar winner Mira Sorvino has joined India Eisley and Jason Isaacs in the cast of writer/director Assaf Bernstein's psychological thriller BEHIND THE GLASS, which is set to start filming in November.

Sorvino will be playing a character named Amy, a role Bernstein wrote with her in mind. Eisley stars as

Maria, a shy and reclusive 18-year-old high school girl, is alienated by her parents and known as an outcast by her peers. Her only confidant is her own reflection in the mirror, from which she derives comfort, a sense of belonging, and ultimately, her own demise.

Isaacs will play Maria's "intriguingly dark", Dorian Gray-esque father Dan. Harrison Gilbertson is also in the cast as a young man torn between the love of his girlfriend and her best friend. The role of Maria's best friend Lily is still being cast.

Another new addition to the production is cinematographer Pedro Luque, whose work on DON'T BREATHE can be seen in theatres right now. Luque will be moving on to BEHIND THE GLASS after wrapping up the JACOB'S LADDER remake.

Sorvino is no stranger to genre properties, having appeared on the thriller TV series Intruders, Stalker, and Falling Skies. Her most popular genre role is probably Dr. Susan Tyler in Guillermo del Toro's 1997 film MIMIC.
