The upcoming Nicolas Cage horror-comedy MOM & DAD is one that I have been keeping my eye on in a big way. Not only do I love Selma Blair, and can't wait to see her go toe-to-toe with a crazy Nic Cage, but the film's premise is… um… killer.
The flick focuses on a bout of worldwide hysteria which leads parents to seek out and attempt to murder their own children in any way possible. While that premise might not scream comedy, I think it's got the potential to be a winning satire filled with gruesome good times. Let's hope I'm right!
Today we learned that the new film by writer-director Brian Taylor (one half of the directing duo behind CRANK and CRANK 2) will be hitting theaters, VOD, and Digital January 19th.
