mother! rated R for strong disturbing violent content, nudity & more

It was only a few hours ago that we shared the news that the upcoming remake of Herschell Gordon Lewis' BLOOD FEAST has snagged an R-rating from the MPAA for “strong sadistic violence and gore, language including sexual references, nudity, and some drug content.”

And now we are here to tell you Darren Aronofsky's mother! has been rated R for "Strong disturbing violent content, some sexuality, nudity, and language."

I have to say those are good damn reasons to be slapped with an R-rating so I'm even more excited to check out the REQUIEM FOR A DREAM and BLACK SWAN director's new flick.

Especially after peeping the bitchin' ROSEMARY'S BABY poster below. I'm all in!
