If you somehow were unaware by this point, I am a massive fan of STEPHEN KING'S IT. The new trailer all but blew my mind and for all its camp glory, I adore the 1990 mini-series directed by Tommy Lee Wallace.

If you remember a while back I shared the news that there was going to be a full-length retrospective on the 1990 mini-series coming at us from the makers of LEVIATHAN: THE STORY OF HELLRAISER AND HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II, YOU'RE SO COOL, BREWSTER! THE STORY OF FRIGHT NIGHT, and the director of UNEARTHED AND UNTOLD: THE PATH TO PET SEMATARY.

The new doc is called PENNYWISE: THE STORY OF IT and I just found out today that the flick is going to run an amazing four f*cking hours long! How cool is that??

Currently, the film does need a bit of help by way of their newly launch IndieGoGo campaign, but really the incentives are cool as hell and, if you think about, you're basically just pre-ordering the flick by helping out.

Plus, they're interviewing Tim Curry (amongst a ton of others)! How can you not dig that?

The PENNYWISE Blu-ray is the cheapest perk and that alone is packed with awesome material, including an exclusive O-card, 8-page booklet, and hours of bonus features!

Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and based on the best-selling book by Stephen King, first aired in 1990 Stephen King’s IT has since become one of the most loved horrors of the 1990s. With Tim Curry’s amazing portrayal of Pennywise the Clown, IT and Pennywise himself have become iconic images of the horror genre.

A fully independent retrospective into the making of Stephen King’s IT and its cultural impact over the last 28 years. Supported by dozens of the original cast and crew including Tim Curry, Tommy Lee Wallace and Bart Mixon Pennywise is made by fans of the IT for fans of IT. The crew have already received support from over 20 of the cast and crew, including acquiring over 2 hours of never-before-seen set footage from SFX wizard Bart Mixon, as well as loads of archival and behind-the-scenes photos and there is no doubt that by the time of production many more key players will be attached to share their amazing stories about one of the most iconic movies ever-made.
