Ridley Scott talks 3D and scaring the shit out of us in new Prometheus featurette

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

You know, I think the internet is going to get a lot more quiet once PROMETHEUS finally hits theaters on June 8th and the media barrage dies down. But in the meantime, here’s another featurette, mostly dealing with the 3D technology used in production, as well as a few words on the overall tone of the film from Mr. Scott himself. I didn’t notice any potential spoilers, although as usual – if you don’t want to know anything else about the flick before seeing it, you might not want to watch the clip below.

Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

PROMETHEUS lands in theaters in just two weeks on June 8th with a cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Patrick Wilson and Charlize Theron (below).
