Trailer: Alex Garland’s tech horror series Devs is coming soon to Hulu

Devs Nick Offerman

On March 14, 2018, we shared the news that EX MACHINA / ANNIHILATION director Alex Garland was working on a pilot for tech thriller called Devs. The making of that pilot went well and FX ordered Devs to series – and almost exactly two years after we first heard about Devs, the series will be making its premiere.

Devs is set to start streaming on Hulu on March 5th.

In anticipation of the premiere, a trailer for Devs has been released online and can be seen below.

Set in Silcon Valley, the first season of Devs will run for eight episodes. The story centers on

a young computer engineer named Lily, who is suspicious of her “cutting-edge tech company” employer Amaya after the disappearance of her boyfriend and starts a dangerous investigation into the secret activities of its development division.

The series stars Sonoya Mizuno, who had a memorable role in EX MACHINA, as Lily, with Parks and Recreation icon Nick Offerman as Amaya CEO Forest. Their co-stars include Jin Ha, Zach Grenier, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Cailee Spaeny, and Alison Pill.

The trailer makes Devs look like it's going to be an intriguing show packed with stunning visuals. Check out it and see if this seems to be a show you would like to watch.
