Wesley Snipes’ Blade will hunt vampires in 4K UHD this December

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced that they are giving the classic 1998 Marvel Comics adaptation BLADE (watch it HERE) a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack and digital release on December 1st. Copies can be pre-ordered at THIS LINK.

If you've been missing out on BLADE for the last twenty-two years, the film was directed by Stephen Norrington from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Wesley Snipes plays the title character, the

half-vampire, half-human vampire hunter Blade. With all the strengths of a vampire, and none of their weaknesses, the Day Walker uses his incredible gifts to hunt his enemies in his search for the one that killed his mother and turned him into the monster he is. Blade’s fight leads him to Deacon Frost, a rising force in the vampire world, set on raising a vampire god bent on destroying mankind.

Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson, N'Bushe Wright, Donal Logue, Udo Kier, and Sanaa Lathan are also in the cast.

Extras on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc will include audio commentary and featurettes.

BLADE is an awesome movie. If I had the tech required to watch something in 4K UHD, this release would be a "must buy" for me.
