You may remember a while back I posted a rendition of GHOSTBUSTERS 1954, where a talented video mashup artist took footage from a ton of old films and made an old-timey trailer for the movie.
Well, he’s back, and this time he’s taking on RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, editing clips together to make it look like a ’50s serial. It most definitely looks like a much better idea than INDY 5.
I’m not sure what’s so inherently cool about these videos, but I’m always a fan. It has me wondering though, could the reverse be true? Could someone engineer a trailer mashup that say, recreates CITIZEN KANE using only modern movies? I challenge you, old-timey trailer guy, make it so!
