Last month I told you all about the online film festival the guys over at Slasher Pool were bringing to us called Insomnifest. The only title that had been announced for the fest was DEAD FLOOR.
Well over the weekend we got word that THECAMPUSHOUSE.COM is the second film that’s been announced as part of Insomnifest.
The synopsis reads: 30 years ago, Catherine Blakely was brutally killed by an unseen killer. Now, a production company has bought the house and is starting up an online reality-TV show called “TheCampusHouse”. Seven college students will expose their lives to a curious audience over the next couple of weeks but someone doesn’t want them there. Soon enough, the students start disappearing one by one, could Catherine’s killer be back?
You can check out the trailer over here. After watching the trailer, I can’t help but think of another low budget flick called VOYEUR.COM, only difference is this one has a college theme to it. Nothing jumps out from this one, but if it’s part of the package, why not?
THECAMPUSHOUSE.COM is directed by David J. Gardner and stars Jason Hamer, Lee Turner, Phe Caplan, and Tracy Pacheco, no relation. Here’s the just on Insomnifest:
Insomnifest is the first ever online horror film festival and will be broadcasted for the entire world to view over a two week period in February of 2008 at Insomnifest.com. A specific date has yet to be announced. We will be showing twelve horror flicks from all over the world and several of them will be world premieres. The movies will be streamable for $4.99 per ticket.
