On tap for you folks is the international trailer for Derek Mungor’s POV thriller YOU ARE NOT ALONE, which gives us a terrifying taste of first-hand horror as we see the film through the eyes of its main character, Natalie—a college graduate visiting her hometown over the 4th of July who is stalked by a psychotic killer. If you’ve seen Franck Khalfoun’s MANIAC, starring Elijah Wood, then you’ll know that a first-person angle can inject a special kind of terror into a film, so I’m all for another POV style horror flick.

DC MEDIAS, a French worldwide distribution and sales company have secured world wide sales on YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Representation for the film will start in Cannes, France at the Cannes Market in May, 2014, where the film will have its worldwide market premiere.

Written by Derek Mungor and Chris O’Brien, YOU ARE NOT ALONE goes like this:

As seen from the first-person POV, Natalie, a recent college graduate, reconnects with friends and family as she visits her hometown over the Fourth of July. The town is inundated with news of a dangerous sociopath who is in the midst of a spree killing and reportedly within the area. Experience what happens when Natalie crosses paths with said killer.

Starring in the film is Krista Dzialoszynski, David O’Brien, Keenan Camp, and Nikki Pierce. Take a look at the trailer below!
