Interview: Robert Englund discusses his new doc Hollywood Dreams and Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story

Too many of us in the horror world, it doesn’t get much bigger than Robert Englund. The man has haunted many of our dreams (and nightmares) and is an absolute legend. So you can imagine my joy when I was approach about interviewing the man, the myth and the legend. But not only that, it would be for the release of Hollywood Dreams and Nightmares: The Robert Englund Story. As a massive fan of the man (who isn’t), I found myself absolutely giddy with anticipation, as it meant I could ask him anything about his career. What followed is one of my favorite interviews, just for how present Robert is and generous with his time. We went about five minutes over and I could have talked to him significantly longer. He reveals what he considers to be his most underrated movies as well as full-on pitching a sequel to 1990’s Phantom of the Opera. It’s a chat that you’re not going to want to miss!
