Forest Whitaker is simply one of the best actors working today. His resume is beyond impressive with BIRD, GHOST DOG: THE WAY OF THE SAMARAI, THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND and so many more. Also impressive is his co-star in THE LAST STAND, Rodrigo Santoro who has pretty terrific resume as well including CHE: PART ONE and PART TWO, as well as his work on the series “Lost.”

One of the real treats of THE LAST STAND was watching these two fellas in action. This is what an R-rated action flick should be and thankfully the cast is more than willing to play along with Schwarzenegger and the film’s director Jee-woon Kim (I SAW THE DEVIL). And of course Schwarzenegger is as badass as ever, yet Whitaker can certainly kick some serious behind as well. THE LAST STAND opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
