Interview: Zach Galifianakis and Jack Dylan Grazer Talk Ron’s Gone Wrong

Ron’s Gone Wrong is the charming tale of a boy and his toy. The toy? Think iPhone, except this thing, it can do everything, even emulate a friend. Directed by Sarah Smith, Jean-Philippe Vine, and Octavio E. Rodriguez, and starring Jack Dylan Grazer, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Olivia Coleman, this animated adventure takes on technology in a fun and inventive way. The film is currently opening up against a couple of heavy hitters playing in theatres. However, if you need a fun family outing, it’s likely that the young ones will really warm up to this.

It’s always terrific to talk with both Jack Dylan Grazer and Zach Galifianakis. I’ve spoken with both a few times before, and have a ton of respect for the two. It’s exciting to see Grazer’s career take off, and considering his talent, it’s no surprise. When it comes to Zach, I truly admire the man and his openness and talent. The two talked about how reliant we are on technology, and how that was a factor for Mr. Galifianakis to step onboard. For Jack, he opened up about starting a career as an actor where you really have to be involved in social media heavily at a young age. It was a fun conversation, and I’m sure many of you will find a lot to laugh about in the new animated comedy Ron’s Gone Wrong, currently playing at a theatre near you.
