Jackman sells Avon

Hugh Jackman needs a better agent. The man has everthing it takes–talent, looks, an accent–to become one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation. But something eludes him. I say that “something” is good material. Take for example, the just-announced film AVON MAN, in which Jackman plays a former car dealer who becomes an Avon salesman and because of his looks and charm, he excels. Good God. The film was written by HITCH scribe Kevin Bisch as a starring vehicle for Jackman. If ou think about it though, Jackman has yet to have a critically acclaimed film except maybe THE PRESTIGE, but even that’s a stretch. Basically what I’m saying is this: If Hugh Jackman is ever nominated for an Oscar, I will eat Werner Herzog’s shoe.
